Bennett Farms
Neale Bennett is a passionant innovative almond grower in Victoria on the murray river system. Neale is so passionant he is even the elected chairman of the Australian Almond Board (AAB). Neale's family property was once a thiving dried fruit block, that was until the first development of almonds went in in 1991. Since then Neale has been trying to perfect the growing of almonds and now has converted his entire family property to almonds.
"I am a big beleiver in using the high quality products. I have made the mistake in the past of using a less quality product and have paid the price with lower yeilds and having to do things twice, which usually ends up costing more anyway. I have always found the Aurora Products to be of this high quality when I have used them as a part of my fertigation program."
"I have replaced certain products in the past from technical powders to Aurora liquids and found it to be much easier to use. With farming businesses having to diversify, such as, I also am a director in an almond harvest business and also stock and sell spare parts for a number of almond machine manuafacturers, the time I have to tend to things like fertiliser becomes less and less and the easier/quicker we can get jobs done and know the fertiliser is getting to the right places is essential, expellially when fertiliser intensifies through our hot growing periods.

"This year I am trailing a large portion of my property with the Aurora's enhanced range. Aurora's product development depeartment will be doing testing all though the year with soil, tissue and sap testing on treated and untreated blocks to see just how much more efficient the range is and just see if how much product I can cut back to without sacrificing yeild or crop health. During the trial I will also have the chance to document the amount of time I save with the liquids as instead of mixing technical fertiliser."
